OTC Clearing Project Manager

A client of ours, a top-tier financial firm, is looking for an OTC Clearing Project Manager to be based in New York, NY. The responsibilities of the OTC Clearing Project Manager will include:

  • Managing the project team to build and maintain the OTC Clearing platform
  • Evaluating project approaches and defining project scope
  • Overseeing clearing platform design, configuration, and testing
  • Ensuring delivery of OTC swaps being cleared
  • Reviewing the current business process and workflow as well as studying existing internal systems to evaluate their current effectiveness
  • Supervising reconciliation of OTC and collateral positions with brokers and custodian banks
  • Validating trade and cash transactions and working closely with the processing teams and other internal areas to ensure timely and accurate security and cash settlement

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, or related field
  • Minimum 10 years financial service experience in a CTB project environment
  • Familiarity managing a project team on the business side
  • Comfortable managing large scale projects
  • Thorough understanding of Dodd-Frank rules as they relate to OTC Clearing and CCP
  • In-depth knowledge of OTC Derivatives products
  • Excellent analytical, problem resolution, and both written and verbal communication skills
